My name is Brett Shea, the owner of Southern Bliss Event Company. I am so glad you found us! ​Southern Bliss was created in 2023 with a dream that has turned into a reality. I found my love for planning weddings after planning my very own in 2019, but I have been a part of the industry for over 10 years, from bartending, modeling dresses, and coordinating weddings. This has helped me understand the planning side of each vendor's job to ensure your day goes smoothly. I pride myself and my team on being very organized, detail-oriented, and personable with our brides and grooms. By paying close attention to detail, we ensure that every aspect of the wedding is handled so that couples and their families may truly be present and enjoy the day.  ​

Outside of weddings, my husband and I live on 16 acres in Brenham with our 3 kids, Hunter, Blakely, and Walker, along with my 2 fur babies, Bella and Moose. ​I am also a Fightin’ Texas Aggies Class of 2014! I love my Aggies and wearing my Aggie bling with pride. ​
